Perna pentru reflux gastric ajuta persoanele ce prezinta reflux gastroesofagian prin sprijinirea si inaltatarea partii superioare a corpului, folosind gravitatia pentru a mentine acidul jos si caile respiratorii deschise - va ajuta sa respirati mai usor si sa dormiti mai bine in timpul noptii
De asemenea, perna antireflux este de foarte mare folos persoanelor carora medicul le-a recomandat din diverse motive sa doarma cu capul mai ridicat decat restul corpului, persoanelor care au diferite afectiuni ale respiratiei in timpul somnului (de exemplu : apnee) si este folositoare si gravidelor, fiind folosita cu succes in toate trimestrele de sarcina.
